I keep meaning to dust off my Android test phone and do some more testing. Deployed a Micro.blog fix today for typing on Android when drafting a new post or pasting text. (For a native app to browse the timeline or reply, check out Dialog in Google Play.)
Belle B. Cooper Thanks for this! It seems improved but still seeing some glitches (e.g. sometimes a word will reverse itself when I type space with Gboard keyboard in Firefox). Much improved, though.
Ian M. Jones that fix for Android has made a huge difference, thank you. There are still glitches such as inserting a word somehow duplicated the following word, but I've now been able to post from Firefox on Android, yay!
Rogin Farrer it's remarkable that so many micro.blog apps are available for iOS, but only a single app for Android (and it's still in development). Does the platform attract the iOS demographics more specifically? Why aren't there more Android users on here? 🤔
Manton Reece @rogin Micro.blog was more well-known early on in the iOS community because I'm an iOS developer, and that's where my focus for apps has been, but I think will naturally expand from here. I'd love to see more Android apps.
