Sunlit 2.2 was approved by Apple over the weekend. Don’t have a ship date yet, but I’m very excited for this. Hope y’all like it. You can see a preview video in this blog post.

I'm trying to figure out Micro.blog. Is your blog post linked in this post hosted on wordpress? If so, I am curious how you got the theme to match your micro.blog page.

CDKS

That looks great! I’m excited to try it out.

Chris Morrissey

this looks very, very, very good! Can’t wait to try it out!!! Congratulations on the approval!!!!!

Amit Gawande

Wow. This is major overhaul to the app’s interface. And it looks awesome. No wonder you were so excited during the Microcast for this version to launch. Kudos. Can’t wait to try! 😊👌🏽

Cheri

Congrats! I can't wait to use it.

Adam Claxon

so excited about this!

@michaelfransen It's not WordPress. My blog is hosted on Micro.blog now and uses the same features and theme as everyone else. I imported all my posts (3000+) from WordPress to Micro.blog, although I have a few embedded files like that video file still hosted on another server.

Manton Reece

@pratik Thanks! We haven't released it in the App Store yet. It doesn't need to cross-post... All the posts are natively on Micro.blog, kind of like a special photos-only view of the timeline.

Joel Mearig

Looks good. Can’t wait for it to show in the store.

Christopher Wilson

oooo! Timeline...nice. But wait...is it chronological? It can't possibly be a chronological timeline, what kind of mad developer would do that these days.

Seth Drebitko

@michaelfransen when you write past 280 characters it will automatically convert your post into a full blog post with a title. What shows up on the timeline is then just an excerpt.

Michael Fransen

@sethdrebitko Thanks! I think that is what I was getting confused by. That full blog post then has an seo friendly url then with the date in it, right?

Seth Drebitko

@michaelfransen I’m not up to snuff on seo, but here is an example url from a blog post.www.manton.org/2018/08/1...

Michael Fransen

@sethdrebitko Cool - It all makese sense now. Thanks for the help!

Michael Fransen

One more question. If I set up ownyourgram and I have cross posting on to twitter. If I post a picture on instagram will it go "Instagram -> micro.blog -> Twitter"?

Manton Reece

@michaelfransen Correct. Any new posts coming into Micro.blog will go through the usual cross-posting to Twitter, and Micro.blog will attach the photo to the tweet.

Timothy Smith

It looks awesome! Can't wait to use it!

Manton Reece

@AndyNicolaides Usually I release updates immediately, but we're looking into a bug, and there's some documentation and other work to finish to make sure the release has the best chance of success.

, it would be great if we could get a Twitter style card for images posted from other blogging platforms.Share:TwitterFacebookTumblrEmailLike this:Like Loading…Related

Manton Reece

@islandinthenet.com Twitter cards come from the URL of your blog post, so I think that's outside what Micro.blog can do. It might work if you set the WordPress featured image.
