New feature for hosted microblogs: you can now hide a page from the main navigation. There’s a checkbox for it when adding or editing a page. Useful if you need some standalone pages (not blog posts) that you can link to as-needed but don’t want to crowd the navigation. Enjoy!

@chet You should be able to grab on the right side of the list to drag to re-order them. (Might take a minute to update on your site. Also, likely easier on the desktop than mobile.)

this is a really nice small feature! Don’t need it most of the time, but when you do, it’s great to have!

Thankyou again ... seperate but related question ... any chance of ability to add a nav link to a page that is NOT in MicroBlog?

I'm in the same situation as @chet. The archive has never appeared as an editable page, even just to move it. So I just created a new page of the same name, thinking the 'About' trick might work; whilst the new 'Archive' page does indeed have the archive function on it, the old one has remained so now there are two of that page in my nav.

@simonwoods @chet Oh, sorry I misunderstood. I think that might be an oversight... I'm rolling out a couple page improvements tonight so I'll look into it.

@JohnPhilpin Sort of. If you create a page with the content as just a URL, it will automatically redirect there.

oohh - got excited there … thankyou but micro blog seems to be rewriting the URL ..
On john.philpin.com I have added a page ‘Blottings’ - which is: blottings.philpin.com
so that is the URL I added on the page.
It redirects to : john.philpin.com/blottings/
Any ideas?

@JohnPhilpin It's redirecting for me when I click on the link. (It's not a direct link... It sends it to your blog briefly and then redirects out.)

- oh wait - cancel that - just saw the page that @simonwoods pointed to ... so I removed the s to just be http and all is working fine - WOW.
filed under ‘gems you keep discovering about mico blog' - though that will soon need its own filing cabinet - not just the two drawers.

thankyou - you were too quick - there was an https ref in there causing the problem - now working - per earlier.
