Castro is my favorite...sounds like this is a good move. Above all, I'm glad to see their hard work was recognized and accounted for--looking forward to seeing what they come up with in the years to come!

It's great to see they have more support so they can focus on that which they value the most.

It'll also be interesting to see how this news is treated by Apple commentators, especially compared to the Pocket Casts news.

as a daily Castro user, this could be great news as it signals no major changes (I didn’t even realise that Dribbble had been sold until a little while after). Tiny seem to have a good eye for ideas and communities that flourish around a common goal...

@simonwoods What are you referring to re: Pocket Casts? The news that they were purchased by NPR? Was that received poorly? I guess I missed that announcement somehow so have no idea what reactions were at the time. I’m a happy Pocket Casts user who is thinking of adding Castro back to my mix because of its side-loading audio feature. 🎧

@grayareas I don't think it was received poorly, not exactly. At best it was cautiously optimistic, which I understand but am also curious to see if there is a significant difference to the reaction for the Apple-exclusive option.
