Woke to the sound of tree branches breaking under the weight of ice. No power. Made a fire. Sun starting to come up. ❄️
Erwin @manton still have power, but otherwise can confirm. Fireplace is loaded and ready. Logs in second pic are from cutting down a dead tree that was hanging over the roof. Super glad that was done or this ice load could have come down hard. I hope your power comes back soon.
Manton Reece @erwinm Stay safe! Power just came back on here. We had the trees trimmed last year but still lost a handful of medium branches so far. Hope it doesn’t get much worse.
Conor @manton I just had to remind my Millennial brother to always have dry wood inside when you stay in the mountains.
