21 years ago today, my first blog post. A bunch of promising social networks have come and gone in that time. Often feels like very little is permanent, so make sure to have your own space on the web.

Your blog is old enough to drink! More seriously, I notice that there are no huge time gaps in your archive. Your consistency is impressive.

Wow! Quite a milestone. But at the same time, you have been blogging only one year more than I have? And you already have built a (successful) blogging platform!

@pratik Wonder if building a blogging platform counts as having blogged as many times as the number of users you enable? Counting quality too, of course.

Congratulations! I hadn’t thought about it but my blog just passed the 22 year mark. It’s spread out over two domains but I count them as one.

Excellent. It seems most first blog posts have a similar flavor. lol bjhess.com/blog/2004...

you beat me by a few months! My first post - cleverdevil.io/archive/2...

@cleverdevil so do you still “rarely have an internet connection” and when you do, it is “very very briefly”? ☺️

Congrats, Manton! 🎉 What a wonderful milestone. I'm excited to celebrate my 25th this May.

That's a while ago! I recall writing my first post back in 2004. Warm memories from those early days of blogging :)

Your podcasting prowess is equally great, May 29 this year will be 15 years of the coreint podcast. So many tech podcasts have come and gone (on permanent hiatus) in the meanwhile.

@renevanbelzen @danielpunkass Thanks! I didn't realize we were coming up on 15 years for Core Int... We'll have to celebrate.

Thank you for the congrats, and for creating Micro.blog. I’m so happy that Micro.blog has been a part of my website’s long history. ☺️
