There are always more ideas than time. One of the things I’ve most enjoyed about building Micro.blog is that it’s a platform where many blog-related ideas can fit together. The “micro” was always a bit of an undersell.

Rene van Belzen To me “micro” refers to how non-obtrusive the service is. It never gets in the way of writing, yet is powerful when it needs to be.
Greg Moore The seamless blending of micro and macro is really one of the secret sauces of this platform. I’d almost given up on blogging because of the performative pressure to either make your blog researched, long-form posts or the opposite where people expect sassy twitter hot-takes and links. I don’t do either of those extremes and Micro.blog allows me to find other people who don’t either.
