Wordle 692 6/6. Went from thinking I’d get it in 3 guesses to barely getting it.

that’s very close to what I did in six guesses, though I can’t think of a fourth word with a different second letter. Oh, now I can, but an earlier guess eliminates that letter

Chris Hubbs (he/him)

@manton That's the danger with those rhyming words. You keep guessing other rhymes instead of burning some other word to test a bunch of possible letters. (I also got it in 6 today.)

Wade Smith

@manton solidarity; these are the worst. Always feels like bad RNG.

Kev Rodgers

I’m at guess 4 with only one green and two yellows. 😬🀞🏼

@manton Similar experience! I sweatin’ it

how do you get your post to have new lines for each row? Mine end up on the same line.

Manton Reece

@Gte @Antichrista Nice! My 2s are very rare, probably only a couple times. I'll sometimes burn through guesses to eliminate letters (not on strict mode) if I'm feeling impatient.

Odd-Egil β€œOddzthrash” Auran

@kevrodg Two spaces at the end of the line, then a new line. Cc:

Manton Reece

@kevrodg Because it's strict Markdown, you have to add 2 spaces at the end of each line.

S Koren

The system should automagically add two spaces to every line ;)

Kev Rodgers

@odd thanks.

Kev Rodgers

got it, thanks.

Matt Huyck

@Archimage I saw say he toyed with that idea before, but messing with the markdown parser gets gnarly quickly with special cases so it makes the code harder to maintain. It’s a tricky balance to achieve, which I can attest to from my own experience.
