Forgot the Stanley Hotel was nearby, the inspiration for the hotel in The Shining. Stopped for a little while, walked around, had a beer in the restaurant. I’m sure there’s lots of history here.

Smythe @manton Cool! Passed thru there just before the pandemic going up to Rocky Mtn NP, but did not know this place existed. Hope y’all are having fun. Loved the area in the early spring. Ran into some very chummy fauna.
Bryan They used the Timberline Lodge on Mt. Hood in Oregon for all of the exterior shots that show the Overlook.
