Going to bump to version 3.0 for the update to Micro.blog for macOS tomorrow. I think it’s warranted with the new bookmarks stuff, but also because the last version was 2.9.1 and I don’t believe in .10 versions. (It’s hard to explain… Somewhere in the Core Intuition back catalog we talk about this.)

@bbohling It’s basically the same. Semantic versioning is just a modern coinage of what I’ve been doing as a Mac developer since the 1990s and “vers” resources.

Sorry about hijacking this post, but for some reason my account won’t let me post new stuff. Says I haven’t paid, but it’s on autopay. And won’t let me manually pay. Any help is appreciated.

@Mtt Sorry, I’ve fixed the expiration so you can post again while I look into what happened.

will the update let us hide core pages from the site navigation same as pages we create or does that need a background fix. I did a follow up query on the help page about two weeks ago but no response.

would be appreciated as the original query I found in help dates back to December 2022. The solution of editing a custom theme is fine for people with relevant skills but if you don't then this type of variable is needed. I appreciate that the user base is probably skewed towards tech people who think nothing of it but it's little things like this that make others go looking at alternative services.
My feedback as a non-tech user is that something like this should have happened before Bluesky cross-posting given that's still in beta and restricted to invites to get access.

@meandering Thanks for the feedback. Bluesky was strategic, although maybe it was too early. I expected it out of beta long before now. (By the way, I’ll update the help thread when the page toggle is ready.)

what's the difference between the macOS app and the web version? Any additional features?
