Stayed up late watching the Georgia indictment details get revealed. Incredible to see the conspiracy outlined so thoroughly even though it was expected. There was also an excellent interview with Hillary Clinton on MSNBC. Trump will not be president again. No way. 🇺🇸

@pratik Yes. Torn between laughing and crying over how appropriate that is.

@stupendousman Agreed, no time for complacency. Just thinking positive thoughts about our fellow conservative Americans coming around to the truth.

@anniegreens Feeling tired this morning but was worth staying up for. Historic even if it also feels like a repeat.

it wasn't as late for me on the west coast, though I usually go to bed early

@manton The federal indictment was absolute gold: https://int.nyt.com/data/documenttools/trump-jan-6-indictment-2020-election/1f1c76972b25c802/full.pdf
"When our research and campaign legal team can't back up any of the claims made by our Elite Strike Force Legal Team, you can see why we're 0-32 on our cases...it's tough to own any of this when it's all just conspiracy shit beamed down from the mothership."
Blisteringly factual argument that Trump did not have any legitimate reason to believe the election was stolen from him; he just didn't like the results.

Careful setting up negatives to prove, though.
Trump seemed to have primarily referred to statistical and political science analysis when claiming the election was stolen, with legal analysis being secondary, part of addressing the other reasoning.

@manton Just makes me nuts to see how long this all takes. The facts are obvious and the perpetrators often admitted on camera and on social media what they were doing in real time. There should be a compromise between thoroughness and speed. It’s ridiculous that they weren’t arrested within hours.. and of course they’re going to be doing the very same thing again.
