I don’t usually look at Wordle stats. I solve the puzzles for fun and to wake my brain up a little, doesn’t matter if I get it in 2 tries or 6. But apparently I’ve played 543 times… Not sure I’ve played any game that many times before.
Colin Devroe @manton A few days ago I opened Wordle only to find out it wiped my stats. I have no idea how it happened. I tried to inspect the localStorage, which is where it stores them, and I can't see what may have happened. :(
Manton Reece @cdevroe Doesn’t The New York Times store a copy of stats on their servers if you’re signed in now? If not, yeah, localStorage seems fragile.
