Wanted to make my blog Creative Commons licensed again, so I created a little Micro.blog plug-in that adds a rel="license" tag. Defaults to “CC BY” but can be changed to another license in the settings. Not sure yet how licenses should interact with our future AI overlords, though, if at all.

Jamie Thingelstad I’m a big fan of Creative Commons and love that this is now in the plugin repository. Curious, would this do anything more than copy/pasting the CC block from the website into your site? I see that code block also has a rel=“license” attribute.
Manton Reece @jthingelstad Nope, doesn’t do anything special! In fact there are advantages to copy/pasting from the Creative Commons site because you can have more control over showing it or linking to it.
