Tested the Vision Pro for the first time today, in the Apple Store. The passthrough quality and immersive video are pretty unbelievable. Apple must’ve done something right because afterwards I was questioning my whole life (or at least my tech opinions). Still no plans to buy one, yet.

@manton It speaks highly of you that you’re willing to let your opinions be shifted based on first-hand experience.
Doesn’t mean that the product, as it exists (and is priced at) now, is for everybody. It really isn’t.

Just checked for Core Intuition #586! It’s going to be a good one this week!

@manton.org Have you used it for a long time? Have you not suffered from any significant form of glare due to a high level of light absorbed by the eyes? What kind of questions were you thinking? Could you expand on these thoughts a little?

@the We just finished recording! Big episode, probably out late tomorrow.

@stupendousman It’s best to make an appointment. I brought my glasses with me and they have a machine that scans them. They have hundreds of lenses in the store so it’ll match one close to a prescription.

@manton I didn’t get the first iPhone either. Second gen will be amazing
