When you pay for something, whether $5 or $3500, it’s natural to justify the purchase. You really want it to be worth it. This is mostly how I see the “the killer app is a huge Mac screen” justification for the Vision Pro. This device does have value, but maybe more for escaping work than anything.

@pratik There’s both support for external keyboards and a virtual option. The caveat to physical keyboards with the Vision Pro is when you’re in that mode that replaces your surroundings, there’s no passthrough for the keyboard.

This is a VR challenge overall and has been since the Oculus and Vive came to market. Apple has massively improved (or dare I say set a new standard) for the interaction model. But VR has been stuck in entertainment land for a long time.

@pratik It looks like full two hand typing. But, there’s that thing of staring directly at what you want to interact with. From the reviews I’ve watched, there’s a learning curve with that. I’ll be curious to try a demo at some point.
