Mastodon, Threads, Bluesky… If you’re feeling overwhelmed by our post-Twitter social web, this post from Ben Werdmuller should hit home. My advice: don’t read everything. Post to your blog first, then dip into other apps whenever you have time. Never reload the never-ending algorithmic feeds.

This is basically what I have done as well. I squat my username on Bluesky but I dislike going there due to the toxic algorithmic feed. Mastodon is much nicer because I can "catch up" and then close the app.

This post is quite timely as I am in the process of building my micro.blog and figuring out all the x-posting flows.

This is basically what I do, with a heavy emphasis on Instagram as my main non-m.b scroll because of my current obsession with romance fiction. I've unfollowed everyone else there and mostly only manually cross-post book posts from my blog.
