I was late joining FediForum this morning, so it’s great to see the video of the Threads demo is already online. This is really going to be interesting when it’s enabled for more Threads users.
Jesse Karmani @manton my understanding from the demo and further discussions at other sessions is that they plan to keep it opt-in rather than enabling it by default at some time in the future
Manton Reece @jesseplusplus That’s my understanding too. I hope it’s eventually enabled for everyone. Account migration in particular (if they implement it) needs full support across the platform or followers won’t be completely migrated.
Jesse Karmani @manton oh that’s a good question of whether they plan to implement account migration. I can see a business argument for them to not want to. I hope they do!
