For folks who might not know: You need to be a supporter, and as far as I can tell you add the alt text after upload. It's also still a beta feature within the main app.
Mitch Wagner I love Mimi. It's my favorite way of uploading images to Micro.blog. Particularly when I'm lying in bed just before going to sleep and cruising memes on Reddit and Tumblr.
The AI alt text generation is uncanny.
I found alt text to be difficult at first but I'm getting the hang of it and enjoying it.
I'd love it if Mimi got support for the iOS/iPad OS share sheet. Even better the Micro.blog app got share sheet support for images and alt text generation.
