It’s fine to have multiple social web protocols, because this is a good time to experiment and see what sticks. But there’s a limit, and I’m drawing the line at Farcaster. ActivityPub, AT Protocol, and Nostr each provide unique strengths. We do not need a blockchain-based additional platform.
James Manes Anything blockchain related just makes me roll my eyes. Those folks need to find a new grift already.

Boris Mann @manton it’s not blockchain based other than identities (similar to AT’s PLC directory). The content synch is the most fully p2p system with wide adoption.
It also has a much more positive culture than Nostr.
