After we recorded episode 600 of @coreint, I thought I had blown it, maybe had a bit too much coffee and didn’t slow down to properly capture what is going on with OpenAI. So I listened to the episode again, and I think it holds up really well. We might’ve covered it more fully than anyone else has.

@manton @coreint I listened on a walk last night and thought you presented your views very well. Granted, I missed the entire online kerfuffle (thankfully - lol). I'm not sure I'm as strongly in the camp with you and Daniel about the inevitability of AI .. too much tech and various ideas are being bundled under "AI" right now and I think it still very much remains to be seen what parts of all that will actually be useful, accepted and ultimately integrated into workflow patterns by users.

@buck Thanks for listening! It’s a good point that everything is being called AI, whether that label really fits or not.

@manton Not sure how they will deal with privacy issues, but I think Apple needs to have some kind of answer for MS Recall. That is the type of thing that every type of user could find immensely useful. I think that is something that will be table stakes before we know it.
