Had an idea to expand my about page, which before was just a few snippets of text and links, to make it more of a story of how I’ve gotten to where I am today for people who don’t know me. It’s not complete, but it hits the big milestones.

Jade van Dörsten When I read that you’ve been blogging on manton.org since 2002, I couldn’t help myself from taking a peek on archive.org. It was fascinating to see your site evolve year-by-year. The Internet Archive is such an incredible resource.

Manton Reece @Aaronvegh Thanks! I took a CS class in high school and college, but all the Mac stuff was self-taught, reading Inside Macintosh and Dave Mark’s early books.
Manton Reece @Aaronvegh I guess that page is a little misleading on the timeline. I learned Mac development before I did much with the web. In my head it’s all kind of mushed together now.
