Micro.blog cross-posting to Threads is a bit in limbo because I’m not even sure how to submit the app for review. But we can have 500 testers! Reply with your Threads username if you’d like to be added. I will process any requests later today and “Add Threads” will show up on Account → Edit Sources.

@DaveyCraney mine is “nil” cc (I’m not and will not be on Thread unless they fully decouple it from IG).

@numericcitizen why would you take up a beta tester spot if you don’t plan on using Threads? 😂

I’m @mitchwagner on Threads and I would be delighted to be included in the test group.
As far as I can see, I will need to activate permission after you’ve done something to request permission, so I’ll wait on that.

``` {
“error_message”: “Invalid Request: The user has not accepted the invite to test the app”,
“error_code”: 1349245
}
@toddgrotenhuis I think you need to go to the Threads.net Settings -> Account -> Website Permissions and accept the Micro.blog Invitation.
That cleared the error for me.
@thedimpause ahh good catch. There was no message or notification from either system, so wasn’t sure where that lived.
@toddgrotenhuis @thedimpause Yeah, the invite prompt is buried on Threads, and I think that error message is outside our control too. Hopefully Threads improves this.
Hi Manton, are there still some slots available? If so my threads handle is @ neilbruder
Just catching up on this - I’m also down to test. I’m liking Threads a lot these days.
If there are still slots vailable, I’m in to test this. @andrewraff on Threads.
Sorry the bring it up again, if there’s still room, I’m thomasrost at threads…
I got the invite on my threads account (and accepted it) but don’t see the threads option here on my cross-posting page - could you please add my account?
thank you! I understand it’s in beta, so I’m not fussy, but if it’s not working do you want to know or do you already know? I accepted the invite and enabled the source but I also enabled it on two sources and I wonder if that was too much for these early days?
