Threads has rolled out seeing replies from other platforms, filling one of the biggest holes in their fediverse support. Nice to see the progress. There is still quite a bit to do (replies to those replies, moving accounts) but it feels much closer to complete.
Bryan curious if you have an eye toward including replies to cross-posted items on hosted blogs in the same way you do with Bluesky? Or is that unique to AT Protocol?
Ricardo Mendes do you have any plans to make the manual cross-posting to X and Threads available from the Android microblog app?
I need to find a way to include these networks for a particular campaign into these networks but I want to be able to do so from within micro.blog

Matt Young @manton Every time Threads integration takes a step forward I let out a breath I didn't realize I was holding. It's going to be interesting to see how fully Meta/FB connects with the fediverse before it begins trying to screw it all up. (I hope they get very, very far.)

Colin Devroe @manton also, it appears replies don’t show publicly on Threads but only to the poster? They still have a lot of work left to do it seems.
Manton Reece @moonmehta I'm considering it. I think I'm going to add Threads replies first, because federation on Threads is still much more limited than Mastodon.
Jatan Thanks, I look forward to having it. A reason for being able to cross-post replies to Mastodon from Micro.blog is it will allow people to specifically maintain a Mastodon account, which has many use cases that Micro.blog either doesn’t serve or doesn’t intend too.
