Good news for train fans: Amtrak route from New Orleans to Mobile should open next year. So many short segments like this need to be restored or built new across the country.
annie's micro(b)log I love taking Amtrak, and would really love to see more segments, stops, overall availability. We're fortunate to live within walking distance of a train station. I'd use it more if it went places I need to go.
