Taking a short break from Threads and Bluesky. Nothing against those services, but I started over-thinking the post length differences. I need to focus on work and blogging first. Because my blog natively uses ActivityPub, Mastodon folks will still see my posts.

vladcampos.com @manton I entirely understand where you are coming from. There are a few tweaks that have to be done for each post. And there's also the fact that I don't want to leave people there with no replies.
My plan is to keep cross posting until #Threads lets us migrate users to other #ActivityPub platform. 🤔 Will they?
Anyway, when and if that happens, I migrate the followers and stop posting there.

Tyler K. Nothing I have a BlueSky account, but I almost never look at it. I tried to set up a Threads account after you added it to Sources, but gave up after trying to get Instagram to login with the correct account and then validate a Threads account. Just don’t need it. Such a pain. I’m fine with Mastodon which is where I see most of your posts anyway :D
