@manton I do prefer websites, but his idea is interesting. That's not enough, thought. Most people don't get along with technology. Even something as simple as having a site is already too complicated. Mastodon, a pretty basic social media, causes anxiety because of a slightly different signup process. Imagine having to deal with public and private keys.

@vladcampos Yeah, people hear “private keys” and they’re out. In theory most of that can be hidden away, but not completely, and no one is really attempting to at the moment.
