Have you considered splitting off Bookshelves into its own app? Might simplify the app and help focus. Just my dos centavos ;)

@combatdavey Cool. My blog is fairly standard… Uses the Alpine theme and the "Recommendations for Alpine" plug-in for the blogroll. I have some CSS tweaks for various things too.
