This morning I got three green lights in a row that are never all green, then I parallel parked perfectly in a tight space, so pretty sure everything today is going to be amazing.

@manton by the way, it's a bit unclear, but I decided to try out micro.blog again, not added payment info yet but is there a free trial somewhere? I thought I read there was like a 10 day one or something but I can't see anything...?

@jglypt Thanks! We do require adding payment info (to discourage spammers) but there is a 10-day trial. You won’t be charged until that is up and can cancel before.

@manton thank you! Will add my info now and see if I use it over the next 10 days :D

@manton just to check, I'm in the UK, do you do the subs in £ rather than $? or maybe Stripe automatically converts it..

@jglypt It's automatically converted by Stripe, yes. We charge in the US dollar and whatever conversion needs to happen, happens.

This means you can deploy Micro.blog updates at 5pm today and sign off for the weekend!

I hope not parallel drift parking, like in this YTvideo. Although that would be epic.

@jglypt No, Stripe does not convert to your local currency. The card is charged in USD, and if your bank charges a fee for foreign currency transactions, that will cost extra.
When I upgraded to Pro, the fee was higher than the prorated difference amount.

Fist I used the Mastercard from my bank. After I learned about the extra fees, I switched to my Wise Card. The exchange rate is slightly less favorable there, but there are no fees for foreign currencies.
