Old Tunnel State Park. Now taken over by bats, this was an old train tunnel to connect San Antonio and Fredericksburg in 1913.

@manton makes me wonder how often trains just mowed down bats going through these old style tunnels that were barely big enough to fit the train.

@bigzaphod The tunnel does seem very narrow. Can't imagine there was any clearance. In this case I don't think the bats fully moved in until a couple decades after the train stopped running… Although maybe the bats tried to earlier.
