I’m a frequent critic of modern Apple but I’m happy to point out when they stand up for values that have nothing to do with money. As Meta and Amazon are disbanding their DEI efforts, Apple is pushing back. The term DEI is tainted now, unfortunately. Scrap the acronym. Keep working toward the goal.

@manton When I was a kid, it was "affirmative action". When I was entering the workforce it was "equal opportunity employment", now it's "diversity, equity, and inclusion" .
Companies have been doing the work for a long time, and hopefully even as the acronym fades, the policies won't.
Given the attitudes of the upcoming administration in the US, If I was in HR I'd be changing the name very soon if I was really interested in keeping the policies.

I don’t think we should be surrendering to the rightwing BS machine’s efforts to “taint” language related to anything it doesn’t like.
