When I read the tech news or listen to podcasts, my mind sometimes wanders into how I would talk about this with @danielpunkass on Core Int. It’s going to be hard to break the habit. But I packed up my microphone and threw away the mic stand. “Let the past die. Kill it if you have to."

Mark Stoneman

You don’t need a mic stand or even a partner to keep cultivating what seems to have been a useful way to process information. Blogging might already do this. And note-taking.

Manton Reece

@markstoneman Totally.

Penguin

@manton @danielpunkass@micro.blog We’ll miss it. One of the first podcasts I listened to many years ago 🙁

Fernando

@manton @danielpunkass@micro.blog you keep bringing up that quote, but I'm not sure it has the best connotation. I mean, it was spoken by a guy trying to justify becoming the next sith lord

Manton Reece

@fernandroid Oh, I know, it’s not totally relevant in context. I just like that line. 🙂

Jarrod Blundy

Not gonna use it for Timetables?

Manton Reece

@jarrod Often with Timetable I just record with my phone. I also have a small mic that connects to my phone… somewhere. The episodes are so short it’s fun to experiment with recordings away from my computer.
