Some of my really old blog posts are still in Textile format instead of Markdown. Whenever I find one, I just manually edit it to fix the links. No memory now of why I didn’t batch convert them years ago.
Herb Bowie Yes, some of my original web writings (on ReasonToRock.com) are still in Textile format as well! If I need to update one, then I convert it to Markdown, but otherwise I leave well enough alone.
Manton Reece @hbowie Cool. Yeah, Textile like Markdown is close enough to plain text that it's still readable. One day when I run out of other things to do (never?) maybe I'll find all the old posts to edit.
