When someone makes an obvious mistake, it’s tempting to label them with a term that’s dismissive or even hurtful. A label is permanent, a noun, a way to sort and divide.
Labels have a dehumanizing effect.
Penguin @manton I once deleted the root directory on a Netware server while working late at night. Don’t tell me that wasn’t stupid & deserved all the labels I could get. But I got over it by doing my usual great work the next day 🙂
