I don’t delete my blog posts… even when it would be easier for me if I did. For longer posts I might add a note at the end to correct something, but most of the time I let it stand, or hope that replies on the post are enough clarification. The blog as a whole is the work.

I don’t think I could ever do this. I don’t know why but, as a writer, I think occasionally deleting big swaths of text is the work too. Paring, say.

I feel that it’s easier to do that than having to deal with discussions about how to tried to “get rid of evidence”.

@combatdavey I think that’s a good approach too. Deleting doesn’t work for me, but I can totally see how editing and curating what’s there could make for something better.

@manton I love this perspective—it reminds me of the concept of the Logos as the living Word, where creation and expression are ongoing processes. A blog, like the Great Work, isn’t about perfection but about growth and the dialogue it fosters. Letting posts stand as they are honours the journey and the whole as a reflection of that evolution.
