Es ist so derbe traurig, wie das Töten auf unseren Straßen einfach immer und immer weiter geht, weil sich der für Sichereheit zuständige Senator zwar mit viel Engagemet für den Schutz von illegalen Falschparkern einsetzt, aber sich um Sicherheit kaum zu scheren scheint.

@manton @danielpunkass At one point in your chat about Crowdstrike you mentioned something like “Hopefully they’ve learned and wont let it happen again”… Turns out it’s not the first time. Apparently something similar took down Unix a few months ago.

All these sort of products feel like a protection racket to me. Every enterprise buys into it, but I can’t help but be skeptical.
